Can someone please tell me that once emails are recieved straight into spam folder, is there anyway of stopping that company from sending any more. Only i keep deleting and they keep coming back?
How can you permantly make a email address you have as spam not return as spam?
just make sure you don't open the spam. if you do they know they have a life person and will flood you using different return address.
you need to delete them as spam- just deleting them doesn't prevent them from sending more. When you mark them as spam they go into a spam folder.
Reply:legit companies to whom you gave your email address in good faith will provide an unsubscribe option. It is polite to use this method to stop the emails. However the criminals behind most unsolicited mail and dodgy web sites to which you inadvertently gave your email address will also provide an unsubscribe link in order to comply with the ineffective can-spam laws. So be careful.
Alternatively, you can add the sender domain to your blocked address list. Be careful with this as spammers use domains such as yahoo that once blocked, will also block legit messages from friends.
Reply:At least it's going into your Spam Folder and not your Inbox. There are ways to 'blobk' incoming messages, but it's not always straightforward. It depends on the e-mail services you use.
If the senders e-mail (as givien in the message) is consistent, you could block that address or even the domain as long as you never want any messages from that domain, but spammers are notoriously tricksy to get round simple approaches like that.
Without knowing you e-mail set up (provider/client etc) then it's difficult to be specific.

You can block an email address or a whole domain.
So you can block fred@badcompany.com
or the domain badcompany.com
Reply:Send it to your spam folder and it automatically blocks. It's no good just deleting it.
