I get tons of spam in my email every day. I need a software to automatically connect to the POP3 server and delete the spam. Please recommend something that you have tried and know it works. And by the way I don't use Yahoo Mail or any free email, it is a paid email service that I can use with Outlook.
How do I filter out spam in my email?
I use a frontend program called MAILWASHER (www.mailwasher.com)
With this utility, you can see the mail that is coming to you and not only filter out the SPAM, but BOUNCE a message back to the original sender, telling them that your email address is bogus. SPAMMERS don't want to pay big broadband fees for addresses they consider not real. So they usually remove your address from their distribution lists.
I THINK there is a free version online. If so, try it. You'll be surprised how much SPAM this thing cuts down after a few weeks.
Your only other option is to just open a new email address and close your old one, notifying ONLY those you want to have the new address what it is. I've done that before also (and it definitely works).
Good luck.
Reply:Used an email spam filtering service: Total Mail Defense, it is the business solution to stop spam, email viruses and mal-ware.
It uses artificial intelligence and multi-filter technology designed by network security experts.
Been very happy with the results and other clients of the service have also written testimonials which are on the site.
