What does finding a message from your email address in your spam folder mean?

I just had a message from my email address in my spam folder advertising "74% off". What does that mean? It can't be good.

Anyone with a separate email program can use any name or address for the FROM address. It in no way indicates a problem. Spammers do it to keep mail from being returned to them. There is no way for you to stop it.
