Where can I find a good FREE spam blocker for email?

I am suddenly bombarded with spam emails, even with a resident spam blocking program on Yahoo.

Where can I find a good FREE spam blocker for email?
Depending on how safe you surf, you may not need an active monitoring app,

such as TeaTimer, which is in Spybot S%26amp;D.

By installing the hosts file, IE-SPYADs, SiteAdvisor and WinPatrol,

you will have a pretty good line of defense which won't use up any resources.

this is the link you reqire for the apps http://temerc.com/hddncounttuts.html.......

for anti virus use http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1

And of course a firewall is a must,

tho the XP SP 2 firewall is not sufficient in my opinion.

It only blocks incoming attacks, and should something get thru and that's always possible,

then it can call out to get more things installed or use your machine as a zombie

I'd recommend Zone Alarm, but one of the older versions from here:

Either of the 4.5 versions seem to work best, less buggy than current ones

i have all the installers saved on disc if you would like them e mail me
Reply:switch to Gmail or download the Mozilla Thunderbird email client.

Gmail has excellent spam filters, and you can train Thunderbird so it can tell spam mail from e-mails you actually want.
Reply:Yahoo Mail has this feature
Reply:Try softpedia.com or download.com and search for spam blocker.
Reply:I have Yahoo mail and I dont get any Spam. Be sure your spam blocker is set. go to options..
